  1. Informal use of thin client to describe an application that keeps relatively little logic on the client side. In engineering slang, it can be used precisely or just as shorthand for moving complexity elsewhere.

    Example: "They kept calling the web app a thin client in slang terms, even though it now held enough offline logic to deserve a more honest label."
