1. A joking phrase for pushing code without real confidence and then waiting for CI, deployment, or reality to tell you what happens. In engineering slang, it implies local feedback loops are not doing enough to inspire trust.

   In plain English: Pushing code and hoping the remote checks or real environment reveal whether it works.

   Example: "The monorepo had devolved into git push and pray because local setup was too heavy for anyone to run the full test graph before shipping."
