Build Herder

Definitions

1. A joking title for the person who spends their day keeping builds green, rerunning flaky jobs, and coordinating fixes for CI trouble. In engineering slang, the build herder is part operator, part diplomat, and part reluctant babysitter.

   In plain English: A person who keeps build and CI systems under control.

   Example: "She became the unofficial build herder during launch month because every flaky integration test eventually landed in her inbox."
