Deploy and Disappear

Definitions

1. To push a deployment and then vanish before validating the outcome or supporting the consequences. In engineering slang, deploy and disappear is a direct violation of shared operational responsibility.

   In plain English: Deploying code and then disappearing instead of watching and supporting it.

   Example: "The one thing the team banned outright was deploy and disappear, because too many painful incidents had started with changes whose authors were unreachable when alarms fired."
