Definitions

1. A recovery strategy where you wipe a broken system entirely and rebuild it cleanly instead of trying to repair it in place. It is common when a system is too corrupted, snowflaked, or mysterious to trust.

   In plain English: Erase a broken system completely and rebuild it from scratch.

   Example: "That host is beyond debugging; nuke and pave is faster and safer."
