1. Short for the Do What The F*ck You Want To Public License, an intentionally irreverent extremely permissive license that aims to impose almost no restrictions. It is culturally famous more for its name and attitude than for mainstream enterprise adoption.

   In plain English: An ultra-permissive software license best known for its deliberately vulgar name.

   Example: "The toy project used the WTFPL as a joke, but the company legal team would never allow that in a serious dependency chain."
