Definitions

1. Code that keeps getting moved around, reworked, and cycled without becoming meaningfully better. In engineering slang, washing machine code creates lots of motion and little progress.

   In plain English: Code that gets churned around repeatedly without real improvement.

   Example: "That service had become washing machine code, with constant refactors that changed file locations and abstractions more than actual reliability."
