Definitions

1. An abbreviation that can refer to multi-party approval or similar shared-authorization concepts, where more than one person must approve a sensitive action before it can proceed. In security, MPA-style controls are used to reduce insider abuse and prevent single-person control over critical operations.

   Example: "The root credential rotation required MPA so one administrator could not perform the change alone."
