1. The process of moving a workflow or product from one model, model family, or serving setup to another. Model migrations require careful testing because subtle behavior differences can break prompts, parsing, or business logic.

   In plain English: Switching a system from one model setup to another.

   Example: "The model migration plan included side-by-side traffic replay because the new provider formatted tool calls differently."
