Definitions

1. A standardized document describing a machine learning model's intended use, training data, performance metrics, limitations, and ethical considerations. Introduced by Google in 2019 to promote transparency and responsible AI deployment.

   In plain English: A 'nutrition label' for an AI model that tells you what it's good at, what it's bad at, and how it was trained.

   Example: "Check the model card before using it in production — it explicitly says performance degrades on languages other than English."
