Minimum Security Baseline

Definitions

1. The lowest acceptable set of security controls, settings, and practices that systems or environments must meet before they are considered compliant or trusted. Minimum baselines are used to standardize expectations across fleets, vendors, and business units.

   In plain English: The minimum required security setup a system must have.

   Example: "The asset failed onboarding because it did not meet the minimum security baseline for encryption, logging, and admin access."
