Migration Hell

1. A deeply painful migration effort full of hidden dependencies, old clients, state mismatches, and surprise regressions. In engineering slang, migration hell is where simple rewrite optimism goes to die.

   In plain English: A very painful migration full of hidden problems and regressions.

   Example: "What looked like a straightforward auth upgrade turned into migration hell once they discovered stale mobile clients and partner callbacks still assuming the old token semantics."
