Definitions

1. A weakness in an internet-connected device, its firmware, cloud backend, or mobile app that can be exploited for unauthorized access, surveillance, disruption, or botnet recruitment. IoT vulnerabilities are often amplified by weak update mechanisms and poor default configurations.

   In plain English: A security weakness in an internet-connected device or its software.

   Example: "A trivial IoT vulnerability in the camera's web interface let attackers pull video feeds without authentication."
