Definitions

  1. A policy or norm that allows people some flexibility in when they start and end work, as long as responsibilities are met. In distributed teams, flex time is often one of the simplest ways to reduce stress without lowering expectations.

In plain English: A flexible work schedule rather than fixed hours only.

Example: "The company kept strong collaboration despite flex time by being clear about overlap hours and documenting decisions outside meetings."
