Code so strange, fragile, or consistently painful that people describe it as if it were supernaturally afflicted. In engineering slang, cursed code is usually a mix of genuine technical hazard and gallows humor.
In plain English: Code that feels bizarrely broken, fragile, or haunted.
Example: "The checkout fallback path was cursed code, somehow surviving three rewrites while continuing to fail only under the one partner workflow nobody could simulate locally."
