Cluster Management

Definitions

1. The operational work of provisioning, scaling, upgrading, monitoring, and healing the nodes and control mechanisms that make up a cluster. Cluster management also includes scheduling policies, capacity balancing, certificate rotation, and safe rollout of infrastructure changes.

   In plain English: Operating and maintaining a cluster over time.

   Example: "The team underestimated cluster management effort until upgrades, node failures, and autoscaling policies all started colliding in production."
