Definitions
A system of public, append-only logs that record all TLS certificates issued by certificate authorities. Enables domain owners to detect unauthorized certificates issued for their domain (e.g., by a compromised CA). Browsers require CT compliance for certificates to be trusted. Monitor your domains via crt.sh.
In plain English: A public log of all website security certificates, letting domain owners spot unauthorized certificates issued for their sites.
