Definitions
A hyperbolic expression of wanting to throw away a broken system, process, or codebase and start over from scratch. It is often said jokingly, but it can also reveal genuine frustration with accumulated complexity.
In plain English: A dramatic way of saying something is so broken you want to replace it completely.
Example: "After three hours in that migration logic, my only architectural opinion was burn it down."
