Definitions

1. The seriousness of a bug's impact on correctness, stability, security, or user experience. Bug severity is about how bad the issue is when it happens, which is related to but not the same as priority.

   In plain English: How serious or damaging a bug is.

   Example: "The bug had low frequency but high severity because it corrupted data when it did occur."
