Bug Priority
Noun · Hacker Culture
Definitions
The relative urgency assigned to fixing a bug based on business impact, user pain, deadlines, or operational risk. Bug priority is about when the bug should be addressed, not necessarily how technically severe it is.
In plain English: How urgently a bug should be fixed.
Example: "The data-loss issue got the highest bug priority even though it affected fewer users than the cosmetic UI defects."
