Blockchain Bro
Noun · Hacker Culture
Definitions
A pejorative term for someone who zealously promotes blockchain and cryptocurrency as the solution to virtually every problem, regardless of whether a distributed ledger is appropriate — often characterized by laser-eye profile pictures, "WAGMI" tweets, and an inability to explain what their project actually does without using the words "decentralized" and "trustless."
In plain English: A mocking term for someone who obsessively pushes blockchain technology as the answer to everything, even when it doesn't make sense.
Example: "The blockchain bro at the meetup pitched a decentralized to-do list app and couldn't explain why it needed a token."
