1. Apple's integrated development environment for macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS development. Includes a code editor, Interface Builder, simulator, profiler (Instruments), and the only way to submit apps to the App Store.

   In plain English: Apple's all-in-one tool for building iPhone, Mac, and other Apple apps — you basically can't make an iOS app without it.

   Example: "Xcode updates always drop right before WWDC and somehow break everyone's build pipeline."
