Working Group

Definitions

1. A group formed to work on a specific technical, organizational, or policy area within a larger project, foundation, or standards process. Working groups allow focused progress without requiring the entire community to debate every detail together.

   In plain English: A focused group created to work on a specific topic inside a larger project or organization.

   Example: "They spun up a working group to define plugin API stability rules before promising long-term support."
