Definitions

1. An attack that uses a QR code to direct a victim to a phishing page, malicious download, fraudulent payment flow, or other unsafe destination. QR code attacks are effective because users often cannot inspect the real URL easily before scanning.

   In plain English: An attack that uses a QR code to trick someone into visiting or doing something unsafe.

   Example: "The office posters had been replaced in a quick response code attack that redirected employees to a fake MFA re-enrollment page."
