No Plan B

Definitions

1. A situation where only one path forward exists and fallback options are missing or unrealistic. In engineering slang, having no plan B is a major risk smell, especially around launches and migrations.

   In plain English: A risky situation with no meaningful backup option.

   Example: "The cutover had no plan B once they realized rolling back would also roll back unrelated data corrections from the same window."
