Definitions

1. A computing system loosely inspired by biological neural networks, consisting of layers of interconnected nodes (neurons) that process information by adjusting weighted connections during training. The building block of all modern AI — though the resemblance to actual brains is more metaphorical than literal.

   In plain English: A computer system loosely modeled on how the brain works — layers of connected nodes that learn patterns from data, forming the basis of modern AI.
