Definitions

1. A botnet made up of internet-connected devices such as cameras, routers, DVRs, or other embedded hardware that have been compromised and centrally controlled. IoT botnets are notorious for DDoS attacks because many devices are weakly managed and always online.

   In plain English: A network of hacked internet-connected devices controlled by attackers.

   Example: "The flood traffic came from an IoT botnet built from thousands of poorly secured cameras."
