A persistent feeling of being less competent than others believe, often accompanied by fear of being exposed as fraudulent despite real evidence of capability. In tech culture it is common in hiring, promotions, and high-performing teams with strong comparison pressure.
In plain English: Feeling like you do not really belong or are not as capable as people think.
