  2. The heisenfeature often emerges from miscommunication: a developer implements something unintentionally, a user discovers and relies on it, and product management retroactively declares it a feature. Now you can't fix the bug without breaking the 'feature.'

    Example: 'Users discovered they could bypass the paywall by opening articles in incognito mode. Product said it was a 'growth feature for discovery.' Engineers said it was a bug. It stayed.'
