1. A professional who helps developers succeed with a product while also bringing developer feedback back into the company. Developer advocates often combine teaching, community work, demos, content creation, and product influence.

   In plain English: Someone who supports developers using a product and represents their needs back to the company.

   Example: "The developer advocate earned credibility by shipping sample apps and honest tutorials instead of only repeating launch messaging."
