Definitions

1. An exploit developed for a specific target, vulnerability, or campaign rather than taken directly from public kits or common tooling. Custom exploits are often harder to detect because their behavior and signatures are less widely known.

   In plain English: An exploit specially developed for a particular target or vulnerability.

   Example: "The intrusion used a custom exploit for the outdated appliance instead of a noisy public PoC."
