Component Tree

Definitions

1. The hierarchical structure showing how components are nested and related within an application. Component trees help developers understand rendering boundaries, state propagation, ownership, and where a change will ripple through the UI.

   In plain English: The hierarchy of nested components in an application.

   Example: "The profiler made it obvious that one top-level state update was forcing most of the component tree to re-render unnecessarily."
