  1. A fiddly sequence of coding or deployment steps that has to be performed in a particular order. In developer slang, code dance usually means the process works, but only if everyone remembers the choreography.

    In plain English: A tricky sequence of steps that has to be done in the right order.

    Example: "Reproducing the issue required a weird code dance of starting the worker, seeding stale data, and refreshing the browser at exactly the wrong moment."
