1. A trained computational model that produces predictions, classifications, generations, or other outputs from input data. In product discussions, AI model may refer to the underlying engine behind features like chat, search, image generation, or recommendations.

   In plain English: The trained model that powers an AI system's behavior.

   Example: "They swapped the AI model behind the summarizer after evaluation showed the new one handled long policy documents more reliably."
